BANBURY United face their longest trip of the season on the back of a big setback at Spencer Stadium.
After getting back to winning ways against Rugby Town, United were sunk by a late winner against in-form Tiverton in Tuesday's Zamaretto League clash.

And boss Billy Jeffrey has several injury concerns ahead of Saturday's premier division trip to
Truro City as well as an early start. United players and officials are travelling by train to Truro and Jeffrey will be hoping they can get back on track after coming off the rails in recent weeks.

Joe Bushin grabbed the late winner as Tiverton maintained their recent revival, underlying the fact that there are no guaranteed three points in this division.

"It was a missed opportunity. Even if it looked as though we weren't going to win it we should have kept it tight and picked up a point," said Jeffrey.

"We've tried the 4-4-2 formation but you have to have one of your central defenders covering with that system and we didn't have it for their winner.

"It was poor defending to allow the player to get past both central defenders who were at fault.

"We have to defend better but I don't think that system suits us as much as 3-5-2. We didn't have enough quality in the final third against Tiverton, they kept it tight and kept the ball well. We found it difficult to break them down.

"It was a big setback for us ahead of the long trip to Truro on Saturday.

"The long lay-off has really affected us but I'm sure we can get it back and there's no reason why we can't get something at Truro."

But United will have to do without the unavailable Ben Milner for the trip to Truro while there are injury doubts over Jack Ashton and Jason Taylor, but David Stone should be okay despite picking up a few knocks on Tuesday.
