Woman’s purse snatched at Co-op store

A robber snatched a woman’s purse outside the Co-op store in Ferriston, Banbury on Monday evening.

At 8.40pm a woman was walking away from the Co-Op store when the thief snatched her purse out of her hand and ran off.

The item is a black leather Bailey purse decorated with a purple design and contained cash, bank cards and a bus pass.

The offender is white, in his mid twenties, 6ft tall of a slim build. He wore a black hooded top, black bottoms, black trainers and carried a rucksack.

A man matching this description was seen outside the Co-Op approximately 45 minutes prior to the incident.
