Two freed from vehicles after collision


Fire and Police crews from Banbury attended a two vehicle crash near Tadmarton Heath Golf Club on Wednesday evening at 4.45pm.

Fire crews had to cut two casualties free after a Ford truck and a Vaxhall van were involved in a collision.

The specialist rescue vehicle from Banbury attended the scene along with two other fire appliances and police.

The road was closed until 7pm while vehicles were recovered.

Fire crews weer also called to a chimney fire today (Friday) at 12pm at a property on the B4031 at Hempton near Deddington.

The fire was confined to the chimney and crews left the scene by 2pm.
