HUNDREDS of people in Banbury and Brackley gathered at the towns’ cenotaphs on Sunday for Armistice Day.
Parades featuring dignitaries and past, present and future servicemen and women marched through the towns ahead of the laying of wreaths at the town’s memorials.
People then bowed their heads for Remembrance Sunday’s traditional two minutes’ silence to remember those who have lost their lives in conflicts.
A full report of the services will be in tomorrow’s (Thursday) edition of the Banbury Guardian. To view pictures of the parades and laying of the wreaths taken by Banbury Guardian photographer Lucy Ford, click on the above link.
