Teenager assaulted outside Banbury kebab shop

A teenager was violently assaulted outside a kebab shop in Banbury on Sunday May 4 leaving him with fractures to his face and head.

The vicious assault took place outside Banbury Kebab House in Market Place, Banbury, on Sunday 4 May between 1.30 to 2.30am

The victim, an 18-year-old man, was assaulted by two men who punched him repeatedly in the head.

The offenders were both white. The first had dark hair and was wearing a grey tracksuit. The second had dark hair and was wearing a light coloured hooded top with dark trousers. Both offenders were seen getting into a black car on High Street, Banbury.

The victim was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment.

A 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy have now been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and released on police bail until June 23.
