A Woodford Halse business specialising in knitted and crocheted toys is thrilled to announce the launch of rattle versions of its bestselling dinosaur family.

With Best Years’ original collection having already sold more than 10,000 dinosaurs since the prehistoric collection was born in 2007, the new rattles – the T Rex, Stegosaurus and Triceratops – are set to cause quite some excitement this week.

Set up and managed by Gaynor Humphrey and Liz Cochrane back in 1999, Best Years specialises in high quality and well designed toys at affordable prices.

Best Years ranges include knitted toys such as the iconic T Rex as well as the fair trade and organic Pebble crochet toys. Passionate about fair trade, the company has toys made all over the world, including Nepal and Vietnam, and ethical sourcing is another element at the very heart of the business.

As the original dinosaur family is Best Years’ bestselling collection the team was keen to expand the range to meet demand and appeal to a wider age variety.

MD and co-founder Liz Cochrane said: “We are very excited to launch the mini dinosaur rattles. We have been overwhelmed with the success of the original collection and wanted to ensure we catered for the smallest dinosaur fans.

“At Best Years, we are dedicated to providing unique and high quality toys and we are so pleased with the look and feel of the rattles – they are simply delightful and we hope the little ones love them as much as we do!”

Like their larger and more fearsome siblings, the knitted rattles are tactile, robust, machine washable and can be rattled from birth. The material used is soft against a baby’s skin and, like all products from the Best Years range, the rattles have been thoroughly safety tested, making them the perfect fossil friend for any newborn.
