Last weekend’s Bloxham Rally once again drew large crowds, good weather and vehicles galore.
The two-day event is one of the biggest of its kind anywhere in the UK and appeals to visitors of all ages.
Taking centre stage were dozens of steam-powered mighty machines from pre- and post-war Britain all painstakingly restored to pristine working order.
The main arena hosted everything from falconry displays to parades of steam-powered giants, entertaining and educating the large audiences.
Aside from the steam-powered vehicles plenty of other vehicles were on hand, ranging from antiquated farm machinery to classic motorcycles and a Mad Max car.
Animal corner proved popular again with a majestic display of hunting birds, rescued ferrets, horses and freshly shaved alpacas.
The fair ground rides and giant inflatables were a honeypot for the children while the adults took a much needed break from the sunshine in the beer tent where live music was performed.
Next year the rally will be celebrating its half centenary and will return bigger, better and steamier than ever.
