People in Banbury went without this month to help those facing hunger. Money raised at Catholic aid agency CAFOD’s Harvest Fast Day will go towards the rural population on the Bolivian Altiplano, like the little boy pictured above.

Spokeswoman Julia Hood said: “Harvest is traditionally a time of abundance but it’s important to remember those who are without, to help create a fairer world.”
