PERFORMANCES telling The Wizard of Oz to Motown music have been rescheduled to take place this weekend following last week’s heavy snow.

Actors from Odyssey Theatrical Productions were originally due to perform The Wiz last Friday and Saturday.

However, following the snowfall the show has been rescheduled to take place tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday at Banbury Academy’s Wykham Theatre.

Costumes have been provided by Wacky Wardrobes in Banbury and the show will feature an assistance dog in training, provided by Banbury-based charity Dogs for the Disabled, to star as Toto.

Banburyshire actress Rosey Delarue will take the lead as Dorothy.

Performances will take place at 7.30pm on both evenings with an additional 2.30pm Saturday matinee.

Tickets are still available costing £8 for adults or £6 for concession or matinee tickets. To book call 01295 267342.
