Police are appealing for help to trace a missing girl from Oxford after she travelled to Banbury to go to a friend’s house.
Jessica Arthur, 14, was last seen at her home address on Friday afternoon, and when she failed to return later that evening, she was reported missing.
She is white, 5ft and with dyed bright red, shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing jeans, brown Ugg boots and a black leather jacket.
Detective sergeant Simon Hannam of Thames Valley Police, said: “We know that from Banbury, Jessica has taken a train to London and we are progressing our enquiries from there. We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen her in either in the Oxford or London areas and can provide us with any information about her movements.
“We also believe she has friends in the Grays area of Essex, and may have travelled to that area. If anyone has any information at all I would urge them to come forward and speak to us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should call Oxford CID on 101.
