Top prize success for village author

A book written by an author from Bodicote has been named the Grand Prize Winner of the London Book Festival 2012.

Simeon Courtie wrote The Long and Whining Road based on his family’s travels across the world.

He has sold more than 1,000 copies since the book was launched in July.
