Teenager jailed for knocking down pedestrian

A NINETEEN-year-old motorcyclist who admitted running over and killing a former headmaster, was handed a 14-month prison sentence at Northampton Crown Court today.

Reece Parsons of Hawthorn Drive, Brackley, was also disqualified from driving for three years and ordered to take an advanced driving test before he can drive again.

Parsons had admitted causing the death of 79-year-old Marcus Coleman by careless driving after an accident in Brackley town centre on May 11 last year.
