Teenager assaulted in Brackley

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old girl was assaulted in Brackley on Friday March 15.

Between 8am and 9am near Brackley Leisure Centre the 16-year-old girl was walking across the field area, when she was approached by a man who pushed her and then attempted to grab her bag.

The attacker failed to get a hold of the bag and the girl ran off. She was not hurt during the incident.

The offender is described as between 18–25 years-old, wearing a grey tracksuit and a baseball cap.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
