Students will treat shoppers to makeover

STUDENTS from Banbury’s Oxford and Cherwell Valley College will be treating shoppers in Castle Quay to a mini makeover next week.

From 11am-4pm on Friday, February 1, they will be holding a hair and beauty-a-thon to raise funds for the college’s Student Fund, where they will perform hair grooming, hand massages and nail painting.

Jacqueline Margareto, hairdressing lecturer, said: “This is a great opportunity for shoppers to get a bit of extra pampering and gives our students additional experience while raising money for an excellent cause.”

Each treatment or styling session will cost £2 and the Student Fund helps those who struggle financially by covering travel costs.
