Something borrowed at boutique

A WEDDING shop that specialises in pre-owned wedding dresses for sale and hire has opened in Middleton Cheney.

Gill Abdulla is the owner of Cupid Bridal Boutique based on the High Street, and officially opened her business last month.

She said: “I want this shop to be a one-stop for brides-to-be, where they can come in and have a look at any dresses and ask any questions. I’ve had a lot of support from local businesses so I hope this can make a real difference.

“This is something that isn’t in the area at the moment and I will be able to offer more wedding packages in the new year.”

Mrs Abdulla will be joined by Christine Allen, who will be at the shop part time as a seamstress and the business will also showcase wedding products from other firms in the area, including Cheney Hats in Middleton Cheney and Purple Sparkle Cakes from Banbury.

The shop is open six days a week and is by appointment only. For more information visit www.cupidsbridalboutique.co.uk
