Search continues for missing Woody

WOODY the dog is still missing after disappearing from his home in Culworth on January 6.

Woody, who is about five-years-old, is a German shepherd/ rottweiler cross with one very distinctive floppy ear.

He disappeared after chasing a rabbit at a farm in Culworth and despite numerous sightings around the Westbury/ Stowe area, has yet to be found.

His owner Jayne Kingdon, who took Woody on about four years ago, said: “There is still no news on Woody but we have no managed to get his microchip number from his original owner which has been passed onto vets in the area.

“Woody was a stray before he had his first home so we are hoping he has gone back to his scavenging ways. It’s unbelievable how many people are helping to find him and we are really grateful. We will keep looking until we find him.”

Anyone with information about Woody or possible sightings of him should call 07866 298844. More details can be found by searing Find Missing Woody on Facebook.
