Members of The Banbury Academy Year 8 book club have been following the Oxfordshire Book Award closely and today (Thursday) they will be voting for their favourite book.

Book club leader Kerry Hutton said: “Once the students have voted, the award ceremony will take place at Abingdon School where last year’s winner, Patrick Ness, will be a guest. We are all very excited at the prospect of being invited to this and have our fingers crossed that we are amongst some of the honoured guests!”
