Pedestrian named following fatal collision
THE pedestrian who died in a collision near Kineton has today (Wednesday) been named by Warwickshire Police.
Deborah Mary Cooper, 31, of Oakleigh Road in Lighthorne Heath, died following the collision on the B4100 near Kineton on Saturday night.
At about 10.20pm a silver Skoda Octavia, which was travelling towards Banbury collided with Ms Cooper, who died at the scene.
A second car, a red Ford Ka, was travelling in the opposite direction to the Skoda but was not directly involved in the incident.
Warwickshire Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw either of the vehicles or the pedestrian before the collision occurred. Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Geoff Bell in the Major Incident Unit (Roads) on 01926 414415.
