Man dies after car collides with tree

A man has died after the vehicle he was driving collided with a tree on the B4086 at Radway this morning, (Tuesday).

The collision occurred between 4.15-5.35hrs and involved a white Volkswagen van.

The road has been closed to allow accident investigators to complete their work and for the vehicle to be recovered.

Details of the deceased man will not be released until the formal identification process has been completed and all close relatives informed.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw the vehicle should contact the Major Investigation Unit on 01926 415415.
