Man arrested following sexual assault

A 23-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault following an incident in Banbury on Saturday.

He has been released on bail until January 30, following the incident in People’s Park in the early hours of the morning.

DS Kerry O’Leary, investigating the incident, said: “We are continuing to appeal for information and I would like to encourage anyone who was in the area at the time, or who has information to help the police investigation, to contact the police.”
