Louise will run marathon to help cancer sufferers
Louise Elcock is hoping to strike it big when she takes a party of 60 fundraisers on a bowling evening.
Ms Elcock, 32, is on a huge drive to help give financial support to Macmillan Cancer Support and has been dreaming up all kinds of activities to encourage her friends, family and colleagues to help her.
The bowling evening has been organised at the Lakeside Bowling centre in George Street, Banbury tomorrow night (Friday) ensuring at least £160.
“In January the ladies of Kannegiesser UK, where I work, helped me bake cakes and then we offered them for a donation, which in itself raised over £200,” she said.
“The bowling will bring the total up to around £400.
“I am currently in training for this year’s London Marathon. I got my place through the ballot and chose Macmillan because finding treatments and cures for cancer is massively important.
“Macmillan offers such amazing support to those individuals and families already affected by cancer, my own family and friends included, and I wanted to give something back to the charity.
“I am really greatful to Lakeside and to my Kannegiesser colleagues for supporting me,” she said. To donate see justgiving.com/Louiseelcock1980
