Items taken from village homes

A BLACKBERRY phone, three laptops and an Ipod Nano have been stolen from properties in two Banburyshire villages.

The items, which also included two laptop chargers, a hard drive and £40, were taken from houses in Lawrence Fields and Dashwood Rise in Steeple Aston and Main Street in Duns Tew between 1am and 3am on Monday, January 7.

In a property in Lawrence Fields, the occupants was woken by a person trying her patio door handle. The man was in his late teens, white, 5’2, wearing trainers and a dark hooded tops and carrying a torch.

Later the same night, the two properties in Duns Tew were broken into and property taken. Officers believe the offences are linked.
