Initiative to tackle garage and shed burglaries
A POLICE operation has been set up following the recent increase in garage and shed burglaries across Banburyshire.

Sergeant Richard Miller from the neighbourhood policing team, said: “Following these recent crimes we are going to be mounting a operation to help increase awareness of the potential threat. We don’t want to cause unnecessary alarm but for people to be aware that these crimes have happened and how they can take simple precautions to help prevent becoming the next victim.
“We will be visiting local residents and putting messages on local noticeboards to notify people and to provide crime prevention advice, as well as conducting additional patrols in the area.”
Anyone with information about these crimes should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
