Homes plan goes on show to village

RESIDENTS in Deddington have given their views on a scheme that could provide up to 85 dwellings in the village.

Pegasus Group, on behalf of Prudential Pensions Ltd, is looking to submit an application for land west of Banbury Road. It held an exhibition on Monday to display its initial masterplan.

Renshaw Watts, asset manager for Revera Ltd, which owns the land, said: “We have had some positive feedback from residents who came and helped contribute to the scheme, and others that are against it, but with something like this you are not going to please everyone. This is a fantastic village with a vibrant community.”

Comments on the plans will be considered until Friday, November 30.
