Garage break-ins prompts safety message

POLICE are asking residents in Banbury to remain vigilant after two garages were broken into.

One incident happened overnight last Thursday and Friday in the Highlands, and another happened between Friday and Saturday on Bankside in the Cherwell Heights area. Officers are asking residents to check their garages regularly and ensure they are locked at all times.

Anyone with information or sees anything suspicious should call the police neighbourhood team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
