A WOMAN who has developed a company with an annual turnover of £3 million after initially being rejected for finance by three High Street banks has spoken of her success before an audience of Banbury business women.

Vivienne Cudahy of Deddington-based Auteur is the exclusive UK distributor of the Waterbobble – a reusable bottle that filters water as you drink – to 1,700 stockists including Harvey Nichols, Boots, Waitrose and Next.

And last Wednesday she shared the secrets of her success at the Banbury Women In Business Awards and Conference after scooping the New Business award at last year’s event.

She said: “I talked about my journey and some of the difficulties I encountered along the way, as well as the positives. I just hope other people can learn something from my experiences.”

She added that one of the most important things in business is having a good attitude. “If you’re passionate and willing to learn that really goes a long way,” she said.
