Dream kitchen on show in new premises

A real taste of ‘heaven’ has been served up on a trading estate near Adderbury by one of the area’s premier bespoke kitchen creators.

Heaven and Stubbs has moved from Glebe Farm in Farthinghoe to Twyford Mill and has set up a Scandinavian-style summerhouse with a beautifully-appointed kitchen inside to show customers what can be achieved by using the right company.

Howard Stubbs, partner and master craftsman, said: “It was the right time for us to move.

“Our business has grown over the years and with this new position we have the room to expand and showcase our range of expertise – starting with the kitchen and moving on to bespoke study and library pods over the coming years.” Twyford Mill has been an industrial site for about 180 years.

It is now home to Aga, Fired Earth and Trade Secret as well as Heaven and Stubbs.

From the outside the ‘pod’ is reminiscent of a Scandinavian summerhouse, complete with classic wooden decking, and on the inside is a Heaven and Stubbs dream kitchen which has been lovingly crafted to show what can be created. The model has been chosen to reflect the bespoke service, incorporating features that set it apart from the norm.

Mr Stubbs said: “The term ‘bespoke’ means an item custom-made to the buyer’s specification and that’s exactly what we do – unlike some other large kitchen companies out there who say they are bespoke, but ultimately only provide what’s in their catalogues.

“We forge relationships with our clients to understand their needs.

“We discuss likes and dislikes and the practicalities of turning dreams into reality; our 3D visual images provide the client with a real feel for what the new kitchen will be like.”
