Credit cards stolen from car

POLICE are appealing for information after three credit cards were stolen from a car at 10.30pm on Tuesday (January 22).

The theft took place when the victim went to the assistance of two males who claimed their car had broken down.

Whilst trying to help one of the males fix and start his car the other male asked to sit in the victim’s vehicle to keep warm.

It is believed the male then took three bank cards from a wallet in the driver side door.

The man who is alleged to have stolen the cards is described as an asian male, around 16 years-old, of skinny build, 5’8” tall with short black hair spiked up. He was wearing glasses, was clean shaven, and was wearing a white top and black jeans.

The other man is described as, asian, aged 16-18 years-old, of regular build, 5’ 2” tall, with short black curly hair, and a goatee beard. he was wearing a dark green jacket and beige trousers.

Anyone with information should telephone Banbury police on 101, and ask to speak to the Banbury Neighbourhood Policing Team.
