Year Six pupils at Cropredy Primary School proudly showed of a new defibrillator they had helped campaign for last Thursday.
The youngsters attend training with the Injury Minimization Programme for Schools (IMPS) at the Horton General Hospital each year where they learn vital first aid skills.
The training inspired the children and their teacher Caroline Tucker, whose husband Barry Tucker is a doctor at Cropredy Surgery, to work with IMPS and Cropredy Parish Council to install the new defibrillator on the surgery wall.
Dr Tucker said: “We at the surgery have very much enjoyed taking part in this brilliant initiative for the community.”
