Busy month for Banbury’s Bramble, Allen & Coghlan
Bramble, Allen and Coghlan
With tours and an album release the Banbury band Bramble, Allen & Coghlan will be having a busy month but not together.
Their first album will be released globally on Saturday (March 9) on their own record label Hurricane Ride Records.
Bramble and violinist Dave Allen will be flying to Australia where they will be playing throughout March at some of the big music festivals as part of legendary Irish rockers The Popes.
Meanwhile, Status Quo drummer John Coghlan is returning for a sellout tour in the original Quo line-up, also known as The Frantic Four, for one of rock music’s most anticipated reunions culminating with a gig at Wembley Stadium.
On the album, Bramble, Allen & Coghlan are also joined by Rich “Machine Gun” Hoy on guitar, Nicky Bramble, Ian’s wife, on backing vocals, Leatherat bass player Jeremy Carroll and a guest appearance on the title track of Fairport’s Chris Leslie providing backing vocals.
The album Road 2 Nowhere will be distributed by Mondo Tunes Distribution and will be available from Amazon, iTunes and up to 750 stores around the world.
