Bank staff help charity

STAFF at Leeds Building Society in Banbury have helped raise more than £1,500 for children with genetic disorders.

The branch in High Street sold Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom zip-pulls for Jeans for Genes Day, which raises money for Genetic Disorders UK, with £1,700 collected between the society’s 64 national branches.

Claire Hill, Banbury branch manager said: “We are very pleased to have provided a local feel to this national campaign. The zip-pulls proved popular.”
