Alice Cooper set to headline Cropredy

AMERICAN rock legend Alice Cooper will headline the opening day of this year’s Cropredy’s Fairport Convention.

The Rock N Roll Hall of Famer has been confirmed for the festival, which takes place from Thursday, August 8 to Saturday, August 10 and will mean a uniquely theatrical rock extravaganza for 20,000 fans heading to the event.

Dave Pegg, festival organiser, said: “We’ve been hoping to get Alice Cooper to Cropredy for years and at last the work calendars have coincided. Alice is one of rock music’s great originals and his live shows are pure entertainment with their great combination of rock, theatricality and breathtaking staging.”

The full festival line-up is set to be announced on February 1, and tickets for all three days will be priced at £105; for Friday and Satuday £95; and for Saturday only at £70. For more information visit www.fairportconvention.com
