Odyssey Youth will take you for a ride on a double decker bus as they sing and dance their way across Europe with the hit musical Summer Holiday.

Featuring some of Cliff Richard’s biggest hits, this musical is certain to get your feet-tapping as Odyssey’s talented group of 12-18 year-olds perform songs such as In the Country, Swinging Affair, The Young Ones, Do You Wanna Dance, On The Beach and of course Summer Holiday.

Following on from last year’s hugely successful production of CATS, Odyssey Youth aim to maintain the professional standards that audiences are used to seeing as they put this year’s show together in just over a week.

The youngsters will not only be rehearsing the show but they will also be involved in the set construction and painting, sourcing props, working on costumes and even helping out with the sound and lights.

This year, Odyssey welcome back Paul Clark to the role of director. Paul is an experienced director and teacher of drama who has recently been showcasing his work at the London Palladium.

Performances are tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm and Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm at the Wykham Theatre, Banbury School. Tickets, priced £9 (£6 for concessions), are available through Odyssey’s website www.odyssey-youth.co.uk or by calling 01295 267342.
