The Cherwell branch of the national charity Cats Protection is looking for volunteers to help foster many of the unwanted cats in the Banbury, Bicester and Brackley area. The charity does not have a welfare centre but consists of volunteers who care for the animals in their own homes until they are adopted by a new family. The charity pays all expenses and vets bills and provides food, litter and any other items that might be needed. Pictured above are fosterer Kirsti Smith and Ginger Biscuit with Cats Protection co-ordinator Pat Murdoch.
Those who feel they have the kind of home life that could include an abandoned or lost cat can call Pat on 07716 596212.
