Thames Valley Police have released footage of an interview with Will Blencowe, the murderer of 17-year-old Connor Tremble.

The video, recorded under caution on February 17, shows police questioning the 21-year-old over the stabbing four days earlier at Connor’s home in Fairacres Road, Oxford.

Blencowe, of Oxford Road, Banbury, was yesterday (Thursday) found guilty of murdering Connor.

A jury at Oxford Crown Court returned the verdict after a trial which took place over three weeks.

Blencowe, who will be sentenced today (Friday), admitted fatally stabbing Connnor in his flat in Fairacres Road, Oxford, on February 13 this year but he denied murder – claiming he was acting in self defence and was suffering from a mental disorder at the time.

Following yesterday’s guilty verdict, Blencowe’s mum released a powerful statement outside Oxford Crown Court.
