Speaking to the Banbury Guardian, Mr Dighton said Mr Body Art was trussed up in a harnass to make it easier for the world record attempt to take place.
He said: “We harnassed him up and got around him to tattoo him. We were all given a number from one to 36 to show we had done it.
“He was completely suspended by his ankles, waist and arms. There were also people underneath him. All the machinery was supplied and we brought our own power packs and crowded around him. It was a bit of a hassle to be honest!”
