The heavy storms this morning caused 19 trees to fall across the Chiltern Railways route.
The severe storms overnight led to a total of 19 trees falling and blocking the line at various points along the route. Chiltern has worked with Network Rail to clear the trees and, after ensuring the line is safe, trains are now running.
The train operator hopes it can to run a normal service this evening (Monday) and tomorrow in the morning peak. However, there may be some short delays and short notice cancellations as a normal service resumes.
Up-to-date information will be available on www.chilternrailways.co.uk and on Twitter @chilternrailway throughout the day, with live train times also available from the Chiltern Railways app.
Advance tickets for travel for October 28 will be valid on any train either today or tomorrow.
