Two arrests made after Co-op robbery in Brackley

Two men have been arrested following a robbery at the Co-op store in Brackley’s High Street this morning (Wednesday).

The offenders used a vehicle to break into the shop at about 2am, but members of the public intervened and called the police.

A 31-year-old man and 27-year-old man were subsequently arrested in connection with the incident and are currently in police custody. Two members of public were also injured in the incident.

Police officers are carrying out reassurance patrols in the area and anyone with information or concerns is encouraged to speak to them.
