Banbury Cross Players are set to present William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at The Mill Arts Centre.

The Shakespearean comedy of love and confusion will be performed by the Players from May 14-17 after a 14-year break from Shakespeare’s work.

Co-directors Linda Shaw and Bruce Walton have been developing the production since 2012 and have been working out the entrances and exits of the performance using Lego characters courtesy of Bruce’s son!

The 14-strong cast have been practising their iambic pentameter since January, when rehearsals began with workshops on plot, characters and language.

Original music has been written by BCP member Philip Fine. The cast includes five actors new to the players.

The show starts at 7.45pm each night.
