A LORRY load of coffee was stolen from Kraft Foods by a driver who conned his way into the Ruscote Avenue, Banbury, plant.
Police said a trailer full of Kenco coffee was taken at 8.45pm last night (Tuesday), and a worker at the factory said it amounted to about 100,000 worth of stock.
The employee, who asked not to be named, said: "A driver apparently pulled up in a lorry cab and said he was a new delivery driver and wasn't sure where he needed to go.
"He was told to go to Finished Goods to pick up this consignment, attached his cab to the trailer and took it away."
Kraft spokesman Tasmina Hoque said the company was "reviewing security measures" in light of the theft.
Police want anyone who is offered 100g jars of Kenco Rappor, Kenco Smooth or Kenco Decaf to contact them on 08458 505505.
