Summer events for all the family at town’s arts centre

The Mill Arts Centre

The Mill Arts Centre

This summer The Mill Arts Centre is trying something new and welcoming at its creative summer school running from August 11-23, with an array of workshops, activities and hobbies.

The variety of workshops focuses on different media platforms, from painting to photography as well as different types of textile workshops.

Mill staff hope the summer classes will be as relaxed as possible allowing everyone to explore their talents.

The cost of the workshops includes all materials and a buffet lunch as well as tea and coffee, To book and see any of the listings of the Summer School classes, visit www.themillartscentre.co.uk

On Saturday The Mill is hosting its first summer party from noon-7pm. There will be live music performances from Banbury’s Got Talent winner Jenna Hone, along with fellow stars of BGT, Total Vocal Academy and many more.

In the garden there will be a children’s area to keep the little ones entertained with fun activities, various craft stalls selling gifts, an all-day barbecue and cocktail station for adults and special little fruity cocktails for the young ones. This is a free event so you can bring your picnic blankets and get comfortable in the garden.
