Tickets are still available for the 14th Banbury Folk Festival, which will see some great musicians play town venues over the second weekend of October.
Between October 11 and 13, concerts will be taking place at the main venues of The Mill Arts Centre and Banbury Town Hall alongside an array of other events.
As well as listening to some great music, there will also be plenty of opportunities to participate through song and music sessions, folk clubs, workshops, blues café sessions, morris dancing and singing boat trips.
Organiser Derek Droscher said: “We have a range of events to cater for all tastes, with a wide variety of artists taking part in the concerts – some festival favourites, but also some you may not have seen and heard before.”
Top of the bill is the international Celtic band Jamie Smith’s Mabon on Saturday.
Other performers include Colvin Quarmby, Meet on the Ledge, The Tindalls and The Linda Watkins Band.
The Vibrant and Vocal Concert will also feature the internationally-known shanty group Kimber’s Men, among others.
The Saturday night Ceilidh, featuring Simon Care’s All Stars, is being held upstairs at the General Foods Social Club.
