Country pub The Black Boy at Milton is enjoying a dining revival with a completely revamped menu by owner Marco Pierre White.
The celebrity chef has lifted the lists of starters and deserts off the menu and concentrated on a selection of substantial main courses to attract diners.
The choice is extensive and features some huge and hearty steaks, from succulent fillets to plate-filling T-bones, all beautifully cooked and accompanied by a selection of side dishes of your choice.
But the new menu also features some delicious alternatives and all boasting the same selling point – they are not small!
These include hefty swordfish steaks, sea bream and dover sole as well as lamb rump and a half free-range chicken.
Dinner begins with one of Marco’s tasty individual salads – combinations of highly compatable but unusual ingredients, from lentils with bacon to dressed chicory with walnuts and currants.
If you have room left after your mighty main course – accompanied by a selection of ales or a wine from the extensive list – there are a few palate cleansing deserts to enjoy before or with your coffee.
