The churchyard at St Nicholas Church in Eydon is ablaze with a brilliant display of snowdrops just in time for the church’s annual snowdrop open day event on Sunday, February 16. Residents are invited to visit the church to see the display between 2pm and 4.30pm when tea and cakes will be on sale. Proceeds will go to the upkeep of the church.

Churchwarden Anne Parsons said: “There is always a dazzling display of snowdrops in the churchyard of St Nicholas Church. This year we would like to share them and, at the same time, raise some funds to support the church.” Pictured are Stevie Cross, Sue Yates, John Parsons, Sue Parsons and Betty the dog.
