The Granary in Wharf Road, Fenny Compton, will be open over the Bank Holiday weekend as part of the National Gardens Scheme. Lucy and Mike Davies will be opening their secret garden from 11am-4.30pm on Saturday-Monday.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the garden which sits alongside the Oxford Canal with views of the Dassett Hills, while raising funds for national cancer care charities. The garden boasts herbaceous beds with colourful plants, a cascading water feature and herb garden with a dramatic sweet pea spire.

In the Granary’s three-acre canal-side paddock, visitors will find a copse of 106 native British trees, and fruit orchard.
