A second man has been charged in connection with Thames Valley Police’s investigation into the murder of former Banbury schoolboy Connor Tremble, 17.
Grant Clemens, 23, of Stockwells, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, was last night (Thursday) charged with one count of assisting an offender in connection with the investigation into the death of Connor.
Clemens has been remanded to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).
Connor, a former pupil of Blessed George Napier School, died in John Radcliffe Hospital on Saturday following an alleged stabbing incident at a flat in Fairacres, Oxford, last Thursday, February 13.
William Blencowe, aged 20, of Oxford Road, Banbury, has been charged with the murder of Connor Tremble.
Blencowe appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday, where he was remanded to appear at Oxford Crown Court on May 30 for a plea and case management hearing.
