Children at a village primary school enjoyed a fun-filled pirate day on Tuesday to celebrate the end of their school topic.

Christopher Rawlins School in Adderbury saw many of its pupils in the foundation level dress up with eye patches and hats for the day, which included a treasure hunt and other activities. Clare Trivett, foundation stage teacher, said: β€œThe children have been really looking forward to the day and at the school we feel doing something like this will really embed their learning and help their future development.” Pictured are Anthony Pouyanne-Daza, Sophia Holliday and Theo Flint.
