Staff and pupils at Orchard Fields Community School in Banbury are celebrating after the school was recognised for its commitment to competitive sport by achieving the prestigious Bronze Sainsbury’s School Games Mark award.

Sainsbury’s School Games, supported by National Lottery funding from Sport England and delivered by the Youth Sport Trust, aims to motivate and inspire young people across the country to take part in competitive school sport. Headteacher Mrs Dawn Shilston said: “Clearly this award demonstrates just how much we value quality PE provision.”
