Dashwood Banbury Academy has been recognised as a ‘good’ school following its latest Ofsted inspection.
The school in Merton Street was visited by inspectors last month and is the first school in Banbury to be inspected under the rigorous new Ofsted framework introduced last month. #
Dashwood’s report was published on January 29. Rachel Gallyot, principal, said: “Our school motto is A Great Place to Learn and this report demonstrates that we are just that!”
Steve Kenning, CEO of Aspirations Academies Trust, added: “Dashwood is the first Aspirations Academy to be inspected by Ofsted and we are delighted by the high standards the staff and students have set. We are excited by the work of the academy as it progresses towards outstanding!”
