Have your say

The Middleton Cheney Library Supporters Group is helping to increase footfall at the village library by holding a crazy golf tournament on Friday, June 27 between 5.30pm and 9pm.

The group will set up a nine-hole course both inside and outside the library and contestants are encouraged to take part in both a nine-hole and 18-hole competition.

There will be prizes for the best individual male and female over both nine and 18 holes and for the best boy and girl. There is also a competition for teams of four and anyone who scores a hole-in-one will receive a toy car.

Participants are encouraged to pre-book a start time to avoid queuing on the night. Payment is not required until participants turn up to play.

The event has been sponsored by Russell & Butler, independent estate agents, and more than a dozen local businesses have donated prizes.

Full details are available from the library or by e-mailing or visiting and clicking Library Supporters.

Participants are encouraged to book their start times at the library on the night.

Prices are adults £2.50 for nine holes and £4 for 18 holes and children £1.50 for nine holes and £2.50 for 18 holes.

This includes the first drink.

Other drinks and snacks available by donation.
